Handy Information For Parents

The staff of Juba Parents’ School (JPS) welcomes you to our school at Nyakuron West, Yei Road, Juba City, South Sudan. About 2,250 students are expected to attend Juba Parents’ Primary School (JPS) each year by the end of the next five years. There are expected to be approximately 100 professional and para-professional staff members at JPS. JPS will always be a DYNAMIC school, where the administration and staff provide excellent learning opportunities for learners.

The “Quality Standards in Education for Nursery, Primary and Secondary Schools in South Sudan” guides Juba Parents’ School together with “Cambridge International standards” as our International Partners. We believe and support the highest student achievement for all students. We also believe that NO CHILD will be left behind. We promise an excellent educational program for all students.

Special Education, English as a Second Language, Compensatory Education, and Reading programs shall be offered at JPS. If a student is in need of special education, an individual plan for his/her education will be prescribed with input from the student and parents. There is also a Gifted Education (GE) program, for students whose potential and / performance are so extraordinary that they require differentiation in their instructional program.

The following suggestions will help establish learning rituals for your nursery and primary-age child:
